Description
Apollo is built for people who release things. Records, episodes, tour dates. It ships the sections a music site needs and no generic theme includes.
Six complete pages — Artist homepage, Podcast homepage, Music, Tour, About and Contact. Insert one, replace the words, done.
The sections you would otherwise build by hand
- Latest release — a featured record with an animated “now playing” indicator
- Discography — an album grid
- Tour dates — a scrolling ticker of cities and dates
- Streaming links — a row of platform links
- Episodes — for podcasts
- Plus press quotes, gallery, video feature and a booking call-to-action
Embedding is simple. Paste a Spotify, Apple Music, Bandcamp, SoundCloud, YouTube or Mixcloud URL on its own line and WordPress builds the player. The theme styles the result to match.
Motion built in: scroll reveals, a hero that drifts and scales as you scroll, the tour ticker and the equalizer — all respecting the visitor’s reduce motion setting.
Four colour styles: the default bold vermilion on neutral paper, Phoebus (warm daylight gold), Musagetes (dark and stage-lit, the only dark style in the family) and Citharoedus (cool indigo). Default typography is Fraunces over Inter.
Musagetes is worth a look if you are an artist — photography and album art read better against a dark ground.
No commerce. If you want to sell merchandise, pair it with Hermes.
Every theme includes 19 typography pairings across four moods · 4 colour styles · every font bundled with the theme, so nothing is fetched from a third-party server · translation-ready · GPL licensed, use it on as many of your own sites as you like · instant download, lifetime access, no licence key to enter.
